Compliance of MyAiP
with AGID Requirements on Artificial Intelligence.

The Hybrid AI architecture of MyAiP developed by Fiven ensures compliance with the general principles for the use of artificial intelligence in Public Administration according to AGID recommendations.

‍Here is an excerpt of the general principles to be adopted by public administrations taking into consideration the fast-changing scenario.

  1. Service improvement and cost reduction: Public administrations concentrate investment in artificial intelligence technologies in automating repetitive tasks related to mandatory institutional services and the operation of the administrative apparatus. The resulting recovery of resources is devoted to improving the quality of services including through proactive mechanisms.
  2. Risk Analysis: General government shall analyze the risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence systems to ensure that such systems do not cause violations of fundamental human rights or other significant harm. General government shall adopt the classification of AI systems according to the risk categories defined by the AI Act.

  3. Transparency, Accountability, and Information: Public administrations shall pay special attention to the transparency and interpretability of artificial intelligence models in order to ensure accountability and responsibility for decisions made with the support of artificial intelligence technologies. Public administrations shall provide adequate information to users in order to enable them to make informed decisions regarding the use of services that leverage artificial intelligence.
  4. Inclusiveness and Accessibility: Public administrations are aware of the responsibilities and ethical implications associated with the use of artificial intelligence technologies. Public administrations ensure that the technologies used respect the principles of equity, transparency, and nondiscrimination.

  5. Privacy and Security: Public administrations adopt high standards of security and privacy protection to ensure that citizens' data are handled securely and responsibly. In particular, administrations ensure the compliance of their IA systems with current data protection and cybersecurity regulations.

  6. Training and Skills Development: Public administrations are investing in the training and skills development needed to manage and apply artificial intelligence effectively within public services.
  7. Standardization: Public administrations shall take into consideration, during the development or acquisition phases of AI-based solutions, the ongoing technical standardization activities at the international level and at the European level by CEN and CENELEC with particular reference to the requirements defined by the AI Act.
  8. Sustainability: Public administrations carefully evaluate the environmental and energy impacts of adopting artificial intelligence technologies and adopting environmentally sustainable solutions.
  9. Foundation Models ("high impact" AI systems): Government departments, before adopting "high-impact" foundation models, ensure that they adopt appropriate transparency measures that clarify the allocation of responsibilities and roles, particularly of AI system providers and users.

  10. Data: Public administrations, which purchase artificial intelligence services through APIs, carefully consider the terms and conditions under which the service provider handles data provided by the administration with particular reference to data ownership and compliance with current data protection and privacy regulations.
