In particular, administrations ensure the compliance of their IA systems with current data protection and cybersecurity regulations.


Training and Skills Development: Public administrations are investing in the training and skills development needed to manage and apply artificial intelligence effectively within public services.

Standardization: Public administrations shall take into consideration, during the development or acquisition phases of AI-based solutions, the ongoing technical standardization activities at the international level and at the European level by CEN and CENELEC with particular reference to the requirements defined by the AI Act.

Data: Public administrations, which purchase artificial intelligence services through APIs, carefully consider the terms and conditions under which the service provider handles data provided by the administration with particular reference to data ownership and compliance with current data protection and privacy regulations.
